This Aboriginal Area Adaptions download contains information slides about how different groups of Aboriginal People adapted to the specific conditions of their environment.

This pack covers the Ngarigo People of the Alpine, Arrente People of the Desert, Jawoyn People of the Savannah, Wiradjuiri People of the Riverine Plains, the Kuku Yalanji People of the Rainforest and a bonus slide of the Torres Strait Islanders in case you want to look at both indigenous cultures. Could be used for NAIDOC Week.

Please note, no instructions on how to use this resource are included. Suggested would be to have students read about each culture and fill out the retrieval chart. This could also be done as a jigsaw or a read the room activity.
