Description
Students can use their own creativity to decide what each picture represents, and most are open to several interpretations. Is it a farm sheep or a talking sheep? Is it a problem about talking too much or losing your voice?
Print, laminate and cut out the cards. The character cards are red, setting cards are gold, and problem cards are green. There are 24 character cards, 24 problem cards and 12 settings. Print the setting page (page 10 to 13) twice to make a class set. Page 3 includes optional cover cards for each aspect and pages 19 to 21 include backings for the cards if desired but must be printed off multiple times.
Randomly assign one of each of the coloured cards to the students. This can be done by handing them out, passing them around upside down or pulling them out of a hat. There are only 12 setting cards included which are all Christmas based to ensure a Christmas story.
