WA Curriculum- Mrs Amy123 Alignment Guide
We have been busy updating our units to include a WA Planner or a WA version of the unit where there are differences. Below you will find a guide as to which units have already been updated and which version of our units to use for those that have not yet.
In a few cases there are alternative units or new units available where the outcomes are completely different.
You can download an updated copy of the WA Curriculum in our popular checklist format here: https://www.mrsamy123.com/pages/wa-curriculum-checklists-for-f-6-teachers
(They were updated on the 24th of January.- please redownload if you got them before then)
Please note that where units are marked as 'WA version included', this currently applies only to the individual unit listings. Unless stated otherwise, these updates have not yet all been added to the Ultimate Bundles, but I will add the units to the bundles as soon as I can.
If you already own any of these units, you can download the updated version from your original purchase email or by logging in to your account.
Bookmark this page and refer back to it over the coming months to know when more WA alternative units are added.
For Maths, I recommend using Version 9 of my units. The differences between the WA Curriculum and Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum are quite minor, but, as always, I suggest comparing the outcomes yourself to check for any gaps. This ensures you feel confident that everything aligns with your class needs

What about composite classes?
Those of you who have made it this far are likely teaching composite classes. I completely understand the need, but at the moment I only have the capacity to complete the single-year levels first. Once those are finished, including the rather daunting task of updating Maths, I’ll move on to developing composite units.
For now, I recommend using the Version 9 units and comparing the outcomes to identify any gaps. There shouldn’t be many, especially in Technologies and Health.
