AI is coming, but Teachers still choose my units. Here's why.

There’s no denying it, AI is changing the way teachers plan, search for ideas, and create resources. And yes, sometimes it feels like AI is coming for businesses like mine.

But here’s the truth I want to share with you today:

AI can generate content. But it can’t replace experience. It can’t replace classroom wisdom. And it definitely can’t replace the quality, clarity, and reliability of a resource created by a real teacher who knows what actually works.

That’s why my units continue to stand out and why thousands of teachers still choose them over AI‑generated plans.

Here are the reasons my resources are still the better choice (and will be for a long time):

1. They’re designed by an actual teacher - and classroom tested

Every unit I create has been taught, refined, adjusted, and improved based on real students in real classrooms. AI can’t replicate lived experience, professional judgement, or the instincts you develop from years of teaching.

And the 5‑star reviews speak for themselves.

2. You get everything you need in one click

When you download one of my units, you’re not getting a loose collection of ideas. You’re getting an entire term (or more!) planned out for you:

  • PowerPoints
  • Worksheets
  • Posters
  • Editable planners
  • Learning intentions & success criteria
  • Assessment guides
  • And all the little extras that make teaching smoother
  • AI might give you a lesson outline but it won’t hand you a complete, cohesive, ready‑to‑teach program.

3. Succinct, teacher‑friendly lesson plans

You don’t need a whole planning period just to understand the lesson.

My plans are clear, concise, and practical. You can skim them in minutes and know exactly:

  • what you’re teaching
  • what resources you need
  • how long it will take

AI often produces long, vague, repetitive plans that sound impressive but don’t translate into real teaching.

4. Actually aligned to the Australian Curriculum (and WA Curriculum)

AI is improving, but it still pulls from mixed, outdated, or incorrect sources. It can’t reliably interpret curriculum language or ensure accurate alignment.

My units are mapped carefully and intentionally — and buyers have been getting updates free each time the curriculum has changed.

You can trust that what you’re teaching is correct.

5. AI makes mistakes and you may not notice them

This is the part that worries me most for teachers.

AI can:

  • invent facts
  • misinterpret content descriptors
  • give incorrect definitions
  • create activities that don’t match the learning intention
  • produce assessments that don’t assess what they claim to

And unless you catch the mistake, you could end up teaching something inaccurate.

6. My units save you hours every single week

AI might save you time generating ideas but you still have to:

  • check accuracy
  • rewrite the parts that don’t make sense
  • design the worksheets
  • create the slides
  • format everything
  • make it look professional
  • ensure it aligns to curriculum
  • test it in class

My units skip all of that.

You download once, and your planning is done.

7. AI is a tool but my resources are a solution

AI can help you brainstorm. My units help you teach.

If you’re ready for planning that feels lighter, clearer, and more manageable, now is the perfect time to browse the store and grab the units you need.

Your future self (and your Sunday afternoons) will thank you.
