For this project, students will investigate totems, then design a representation of their totem (such as headdresses, poles or cave painting) and build a model (e.g. headdress, pole, painting, or necklace).
The marking guide shows where points should be awarded, and these points can be recorded on the checklist provided, which covers up to 33 students.
This resource links well with the Australian Curriculum HASS learning aspects and is great to use during NAIDOC Week.
